Where your writing lives is really important and can be taken for granted. Every bullet is a record in a repository you own and control. It's built on AT Protocol, the network behind Bluesky, this blog, and a growing number of sites that all empower users to own and control their identity and data. If you ever leave, your writing leaves with you.

Day to day, it mostly just feels like typing. Edits save as they happen, and each bullet quietly shows whether its last edit has landed. Go offline and your writing is held locally, then sent in order once the network comes back. Changes from another device stream in while you watch. Todos strike through when you finish them. Notes hang under the line they belong to.

Sign in with your existing identity, like alice.bsky.social or ngerakines.me, to start writing. Your outline will live in your public repository, and for those that are on a PDS that supports permissioned-data, that can be enabled in settings.
